Finished work with client asking for a little more of the white azalea than I had originally placed.
Above: The addition of white azaleas in the foreground improved the painting by helping to draw the viewer into the piece.
This client wanted the pink azaleas to come close to the pink in her room - her favorite color!
Usually this would not work for most artists but with the flower being this color I just needed to tweak the pink a little to get it perfect!
The client saw this work in my studio and knew it was what she had been searching for over a year. She just needed it to be larger. The above painting was a 12x16 and we increased the work to a 30x40 to place over her mantle. The Services page of the website shows the piece placed in her home.
